Stephen Fraidin joined Pershing Square Capital Management, L.P. as Vice Chairman in February 2015. Pershing Square is an asset manager with approximately $12 billion assets under management.

Before joining Pershing Square, Mr. Fraidin was a partner in Kirkland & Ellis LLP, and, before that, he was a partner in Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP. At Kirkland & Ellis, Mr. Fraidin specialized in mergers & acquisitions and corporate governance. Steve has twice received recognition from The American Lawyer as one of their "Dealmakers of the Year.

He has co-taught "the Law & Economics of Corporate Control" at Yale Law School for over 30 years.

Steve was honored by Yale Law School with the Simeon E. Baldwin Award for his legal creativity and teaching.
