Activism And Its Impacts on Investor Relations in Asia

25 June 2015 (Thu)
Outline: Asia Pacific was reviewed in very favorable light during 2014, and that affinity for the region has not waned in 2015. But with the positive capital inflows buoying the region's equities, corporates should be on guard for not only traditional buy-&-hold investors, but also activist investors too, as we have recently witnessed in some cases in Hong Kong. Traditional activist investment had a banner year in terms of attracting capital in 2014 with a number of sources confirming that the investment style is outperforming all of its hedge fund peers, and as such, would also be turning their attentions to Asia.
This seminar on Activism Impacts will cover:
  • What Would Attract Activists?
