IR Guidelines amidst Coronavirus Outbreak

In early February, SFC and HKEX issued a joint statement on guidance to listed companies and their auditors in relation to announcing preliminary results and inside information due to the coronavirus outbreak. During this critical time, HKIRA issued a Guidance on 28 February 2020 to assist IROs to uphold the best practices of continuous communication to investors and other stakeholders.

6th IR Awards
Public Nomination Completed in Success

W e are very pleased to announce that the 6th HKIRA IR Awards was officially launched on Jan 31 together with a media interview, and the public nomination was successfully completed from Jan 31 to Mar 2. The next phrase of public online voting is starting on Mar 9 (mon) at 11am, Hong Kong time.

encouraging, recognising and rewarding the outstanding efforts of more Hong Kong-listed companies to encourage excellence and best practices in IR. To honour the exceptional ESG practices that play a significant role in listed companies at a strategic and operational level, 3 new award categories have been added in the 6th IR Awards this year for nomination and voting. They are Best ESG (E), Best ESG (S) and Best ESG (G), for recognising collective excellence of listed companies in environmental, social and governance efforts under ESG respectively. A new overall accolade has been added as well this year, namely Grand ESG Award, whose winners will be selected by the judging panel to honour companies' overall performance in the above three areas of ESG.
The 6th IR Awards, hence, has a total of 15 award categories this year, honouring best IR practices of individuals and companies. Among these awards, 12 categories are open for nomination and voting, while the other 3 awards are selected by the judging panel.
