HKIRA 9th IR Awards 2023
The 9th annual HKIRA Investor Relations Awards has successfully recognized and celebrated excellence in IR practices among Hong Kong-listed companies and professionals in the field. The event, attended by more than 230 guests from the IR industry, investment community, and listed companies, was held on 28 June 2023, at the IR Awards Conference and Awards Presentation Luncheon. Under the new normal, the event was held in a hybrid mode. Thanks to the advanced technology and media partnerships allowing a wider audience of more than 4000 attendees from mainland China to join us online. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all attendees and supporters for their dedication and commitment to outstanding IR efforts.
Mr. Joseph Chan, JP, Under Secretary for Financial Services & The Treasury of The Government of the Hong Kong SAR, was the Guest-of-Honor at the Award Presentation Luncheon and presented the prestigious award, 5-year winning companies and 3-year winning companies. Of all the award categories, “Overall Best IR Company” is the most prestigious as the winner is selected by the judging panel among the winners of all the award categories for demonstrating all-round exemplary performance in investor relations. This year, the winners of Overall Best IR Company by company size – Large Cap and Mid Cap – are China Resources Beer (Holdings) Company Limited and Xtep International Holdings Limited. The Judging Panel concurred to withhold the Overall Best IR Company Award for Small Cap and looked forward to ongoing efforts in the adoption of IR best practices by Small Cap companies and the listed companies in Hong Kong as a whole.

NIRI IRC Program On Demand Now!

NIRI's Certification Program - Investor Relations Charter (IRC®) – USA
Hong Kong Investor Relations Association (HKIRA) is pleased to continue our collaboration with NIRI – National Investor Relations Institute to bring the Investor Relations Charter (IRC®) Certification Program to IR practitioners in Hong Kong and Mainland China.
NIRI has announced that from March 1, 2022, they will go live with the IRC exam on demand and online with live remote proctoring. Approved candidates can sit for the exam at the time of their choosing and in their preferred location as long they meet the security and system requirements.
NIRI has also added some tools for the convenience of the test takers including an on-screen notepad, an on-screen calculator, and an optional 10-minute break.
Attendees who pass the examination and meet all the necessary requirements by NIRI, will receive a certification welcome package from NIRI to confirm their success. IRC designation can be used to denote certificate on the corporate collaterals of the successfully completed attendees.

Hong Kong Investor Relations Association (HKIRA) is a professional non-profit association comprising IR practitioners and corporate executives responsible for communications between corporate management and the investment community.
