Friends of the Earth (HK) Charity Limited and PolyU’s Center for Economic Sustainability & Entrepreneurial Finance (CESEF) have formed a partnership program with aims to promote the understanding of ESG principles and adoption of ESG investment practices among asset owners and investment professionals. The program began with a series of focus group discussions with professionals from various sectors within the finance and investment industry during 2019. Key findings of the focus groups and some research on ESG reporting will be presented at this ESG symposium. The symposium aims to address concerns related to the importance of ESG development and discuss how to put ESG into practice among corporate practitioners. The objective is to raise the public awareness of the importance of green finance and ESG integration.
